8 new queer series that we should expect in the fall

Returning to home after hot and adventurous summer doesn’t seem as hard when we remember that there are so many interesting series to watch very soon.

So, pour yourself a cup of tea, get your favorite snacks and look through the queer series that you should look forward to during this fall.

The Other Two (HBO Max)

Release date – August 26

The Other Two returned on August 26 with a new season. The show tells a story about a beginner gay actor and his dancer sister. They are trying in vain to succeed in their careers as their younger, 13-year-old brother suddenly becomes an internet sensation.

Q-Force (Netflix)

Q-Force is a new Netflix animated series that tells us about queer super agents. . The secret queer agents in the series are lead by Agent Mary, and everything changes after a heterosexual man is added to the team of agents.

 

Impeachment: American Crime Story (FX)

Release date – September 7

After famous seasons of Gianni Versace and O. J. Simpson, American Crime Story returns with another season. The next season of the anthology, Impeachment, will bring to life the sex scandal between the 42nd President of the United States, 43-year-old Bill Clinton, and the 22-year-old White House intern, Monica Lewinsky. The main role in the series will be played by Sarah Paulson.

Y: The Last Man (FX)

Release date: September 13

Are you bored of The Walking Dead? Then this new TV-series is for you. Based on the famous comic book series, the action takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, where one day all living beings with the Y chromosome disappeared, except for one cisgender man – Yorick and his monkey.

Chicaco Party Aunt (Netflix)

Release Date – September 17

Chicago Party Aunt is another adult comedy animated series that tells us the story of a young gay man. The protagonist of the series decides to take a one-year break, change his place of residence and move to Chicago to live with his party-loving aunt.

Sex Education (Netflix)

Release date – September 17

If you don’t know it yet, let me tell you that just in one week one of the most famous Netflix TV series, Sex Education, is releasing a new, third season. The series tells us a story of a student of Moordale school, Otis Milburn, and his mother, Gene Milburn (Gillian Anderson). As can be seen from the recently released trailer, the new season should be more dramatic.

Chucky (Syfy/USA)

Release date – October 12

We’ve got some good news for horror lovers! Chucky, a TV adaptation of the cult horror film, will be released soon. A small, quiet and peaceful town is described, though this tranquility and peace is broken shattered a gay schoolboy, Jackie, buys a weird doll.

The 4400 (The CW)

Release date – October 25

Probably everyone remembers the science fiction series The 4400 from the 2000s. The series tells the story of people who one day disappeared from earth, and years later, suddenly returned again. They do not remember where they went, have not grown old and moreover, they have some superpowers. The reboot of the series will be released in October on The CW screens.
